I live and write in a small town in Michigan. My favorites are: oldies rock music, stained glass, playing in my garden, snuggling with my dogs, horseback riding and, of course, writing. I also love nature, and am often at my most creative when I am taking my ex-racehorse out for an amble through the woods. Using my pen name, Judith Wade, I enjoy creating middle grades chapter books, especially stories with a little bit of fantasy–mermaids, ghosts and whatever else my imagination uncovers.
